Print this off to carry with the Irlen spectacles;
Dear Teacher,
_______________ has a perceptual dysfunction which causes hypersensitivity to fluorescent and bright lighting, headlights, high contrast, and patterns. This individual is wearing specialized coloured glasses, not sunglasses. They are to be worn for all reading/writing-based activities and other visually-intensive activities. Although the lenses may appear dark, they do not reduce clarity or visibility, even in dim lighting.
